By IndiaTomorrow.net,New Delhi, 18 Oct 2015: Feeling the heat of a hard-wording article over beef eating and Dadri lynching, published in Panchjanya, popularly and widely known as the its mouthpiece, the RSS has come out to disown the publication as its mouthpiece.
“Paanchajanya/Organiser are not mouth piece of RSS. An official office bearer only speaks on behalf of RSS: Dr Vaidya,” tweeted RSS on its official twitter handle.
“The report that RSS supports Dadri incident is blatantly false and baseless. RSS never supported any incident of violence,” RSS tweeted apparently in a reaction over The Indian Express report RSS mouthpiece defends Dadri: Vedas order killing of sinners who kill cows .
The English daily quoted RSS mouthpiece Panchjanya as saying: “Veda ka adesh hai ki gau hatya karne wale pataki ke pran le lo. Hum mein se bahuton ke liye to yah jivan-maran ka prashn hai (Vedas order killing of the sinner who kills a cow. It is a matter of life and death for many of us).” The text is from the article ‘Is Utpat ke Us paar’ (The other side of this disturbance)’ published in the latest edition of the publication.
“RSS has clearly stated abt Dadri violence that a thorough inquiry should be conducted & the guilty should be punished with,” Dr Vaidya further said.
Meanwhile, Amit Shah, national president of BJP, the political front of RSS, Sunday morning summoned four leaders of the party who have given controversial statement over Dadri lynching and beef eating. The included Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Minister Mahesh Sharma, MLA Sangeet Som and MP Sakshi Maharaj. The meeting was reportedly held at the party headquarters. According to media reports, the party president conveyed to them that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was upset over the issue.
