Mrs. Synthia Nathicia (D‘Cunha) Edwards, DOB 24 May 1967.
She was born in Simla (HP) to Mr. Marcel D’Cunha and Mrs.
Helen D‘Cunha. The family belongs to Madyantar. Her father
being in the army, Synthia had the opportunity to go to different
parts of the country during her childhood, until her father settled
down in Hyderabad in the year 1971. She is workin for DMRL, a
defence establishment in Hyderabad since 1988. She married
Mr. Ralph Edwards, an Anglo-Indian from Secunderabad on
25 Jun 2000. Mr. Ralph has his own business, marketing
fire-safety equipment. Synthia is an acclaimed chess and carrom
player. They have two sons; Christopher aged 5 yrs and Mark

Mrs. Gracy Devassy (Sequeira), DOB 17 September 1955.
Her parents are Mr. Mathias Sequeira and Monica Sequeira,
residing at Secunderabad. Her father, being a civilian employee
of the army, has settled in Secunderabad since 1953.
Mrs. Gracy grew up and studied at Secunderabad. After her
studies, she secured a job with Indian Detonators Limited,
a defence establishment in 1977 and still works there. She
married Mr. Anthony Devassy, a Keralite based in Secunderabad,
on 17 April 1977. He owns a general store in Lothukunta,
Secunderabad, and is in business since 1979. They have two
sons; Vivian aged 28 yrs, an engineer working in Dubai, Winfred
aged 19 yrs studying B.Sc Second year at Loyola College and a
daughter Winney, aged 24 yrs , who works as a process

Mrs. Joan (Sequeira) Ardeshir, DOB 11 June 1957. She was
born to Mr. Aloysius Sequeira and Mrs. Eva Sequiera at Bombay.
Mr. Aloysius Sequeira was working with the Indian Airlines, and
after some years, they shifted to Secunderabad and settled in
West Marredpally. Mrs. Joan studied and grew up in
Secunderabad. She married Mr. Rusi Ardeshir, who was from a
railway officer’s family in West Marredpally. They married on 11
Jan 1987. They both were working for the Bank of India till the
year 2000, when they took VRS and shifted to their own house .
Mrs. Joan then worked for St Ann‘s High School, Secunderabad,
for two years and has joined HSBC recently. The couple have
two daughters. Their elder daughter, Rithika, has just joined BITS
Pilani at the Goa Centre. And the younger daughter, Nandita,
is in the 11th standard in St Ann‘s High School, Secunderabad.
Her hobby is music and she plays the guitar and piano. Her
niece, Ms. Nisha Antao stays with them and is a student of

Mrs Rita (Pereira) Fernandes, DOB 19 May 1953. She was
born to Mr. Franky Pereira and Mrs. Annie Pereira in Mumbai.
The family shifted to Secunderabad when Mrs.Rita was small,
while her father was working as a civilian, in the army. They
have settled in Trimulgherry, Secunderabad, since then. She
studied at the Holy Family School, Trimulgherry, Secunderabad.
She has a son, Joseph aged 34 yrs. Her unmarried sister
Ms. Cecelia aged 30 yrs stays with her. Mrs. Rita, with the another
sister, Mrs. Elizabeth‘s family have built the Infant Jesus shrine
at Trimulgherry and are maintaining it. They are also running
