Pahlu Khan’s family threatens to commit suicide if not got justice

Jaipur, April 17: Slain Haryana dairy farmer Pahlu Khan’s family on Monday threatened to commit suicide if the government did not ensure justice to them.

Speaking at an event organized by CPI-M at Shaheed Smarak Park in the state capital, Pahlu’s uncle Hussain Khan said: “If we did not get justice, whole family of Pahul Khan will commit suicide.”

Pahlu, 50, and three others were brutally assaulted by a gang of alleged cow vigilantes in Alwar district of the state on 1st April. Pahlu succumbed to injuries in hospital two days later. His two sons and his neighbor Azmat Khan were wounded.

The event organized for seeking justice for Pahlu was attended by PCUL Rajasthan president Kavita Srivastava and eminent social activist Swami Agnivesh besides others.
