New Delhi, Sep 13: The victory of the student wing of Congress party in the Delhi University students union election has boosted their morale.
According to reports, NSUI (National Students' Union of India) has won top two posts of President and Vice President whereas BJP's student wing ABVP could get the posts of Secretary and joint secretary. In the last year election, NSUI had won just one seat.
"This mandate is a clear indication that student fraternity have restored their faith in @INCIndia & our beloved leader Sh.@OfficeOfRG," tweeted NSUI.

It further said that its victory is rejection of divisive ideology.

On Sep 11, just day before the poll, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had address the youth of the country from a college of Delhi University to celebrate the Swami Vivekananda's historic speech in America on the same day in 1893.
Union minister and BJP leader Kiren Rijiju had campaign for ABVP in Delhi University.
After JNU, it is the second big defeat of ABVP in student union election in Delhi in one week.
