New Delhi, April 15: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal made a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS in his speech on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti here on Thursday.
“Modi ji is not country, RSS is not Parliament and Manusmriti is not Constitution. From which Constitution are they trying to run this country today? Constitution of Baba Saheb Ambedkar or Manusrmriti? We will not tolerate it and the country will not tolerate it,” said Aam Aadmi Party leader.
“Our country got freedom after years of struggle and fight and Baba Saheb gave this Constitution. We will sacrifice our life for protection of this Constitution. We won’t allow anyone to do anything against this Constitution.”
Kejriwal strongly criticized the BJP-led central government for dismantling elected governments in Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarkhand.
“Today they have ripped apart the Constitution. They dismantled government in Arunachal Pradhesh, bought MLAs and demolished the government. Baba Saheb’s Constitution does not allow it. His Constitution asks people to face election and win and form government. They have no strength left to win elections and so they are resorting to dismantling of elected government. They demolished Arunachal Pradesh, then Uttarakhand and now they say they will dismiss 21 MLAs in Delhi. I dare you to dismiss them and come out to fight elections. We are ready. You should stop back door entry; otherwise people of the country will dismiss you permanently,” said Kejriwal.
At the end of his speech, Kejriwal put four demands before PM Modi – the first was about his following on social media.
“On this occasion, I want to put 3-4 demands before PM. PM should unfollow those who abuse and use filthy language for girls.”
“Second, the two ministers responsible for Rohith Vemula’s suicide should be dismissed from cabinet in order to ensure justice to Rohtih. Third, stop dismantling elected governments. Fight elections and win and honestly run government for five years. Fourth, let Delhi government work. People of Delhi are happy with Delhi govt. Fifth, Arrest and put behind bars those who are doing hooliganism over Bharat Mata Ki Jai and food habits. Stop hooligans and this goondagardi,” demanded Kejriwal.
