Jaipur, Feb 9: “It’s a welcome development in the districts where the sale of liquor has gone down,” said Sawai Singh, Rajasthan Convenor of Drug Free India Movement while commenting on the media reports about 28% decrease in liquor sale in 19 districts of the state.

“People of the state should uproot this evil because it destroys the whole society,” said Singh while talking to IndiaTomorrow.net.

He alleged that the state government is promoting this evil. “It is shameful that the government has issued notice to officers of excise department in the districts where liquor sale has come down and is forcing them to increase the sale,” said Singh.
