Leaders from Muslim, Christian, Hindu and Sikh Communities Make Human Chain outside Delhi Church against Sri Lanka Bombings

New Delhi, April 23— Leaders from different religious communities including Muslim and Christian made a human chain at the prominent church- Sacred Heart Cathedral – in Delhi on Tuesday in protest against the serial bombings in which over 320 were killed in Sri Lanka on Sunday.

Eminent figures who were part of the human chain included Maulana Mahmood Madani, General Secretary, Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind, Nusrat Ali, former Vice President, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Navaid Hamid, President, All India Muslim Majlis-e Mushawarat, Civil rights activists Dr. John Dayal, AC Michael and Apoorvanand and a large number of members of United Against Hate.

They were holding placard with messages condemning terrorism like “Terrorism has no religion”, “We will fight against politics of terror” and “We are Colombo, We are Christians.
