New Delhi, Oct 17: The All India Muslim Majlis-e Mushawarat (AIMMM), the apex body of Indian Muslims, has welcomed the agreement of unity between Palestinians’ Fatah and Hamas groups after ten years of discord, division and bitter relations.

AIMMM president Mr. Navaid Hamid expressed hope that “the unity deal would hopefully get rid, finally and forever, of the division between the two factions and the leadership of West Bank and Gaza and hopefully it also would bring desired relief to the enslaved citizens of Gaza and end their sufferings and agony which they are facing for more than a decade now because of the siege by Israel.”
